Charu Modi Bhartia initialized educational institutions and worked tirelessly, to develop a unique model of higher education suited specially for the emerging needs of developing India by partnering with Western International University, USA and Stratford University, USA.

Due to her expertise in the field, she also launched her company, Modi Healthcare Placements India Pvt. Ltd to train nurses for the US and UK markets. Ms Bhartia has had the opportunity to work closely with organizations like Caron Foundation and Neuro Linguistic Programming, Decker Communications, Aspen Group. etc.

Lalit Modi

Lalit Modi has been instrumental in bringing in high end premium apparel brand - Ermenegildo Zegna into the Indian retail market. Including the launch of Ten Sports and ESPN he was responsible for launching Disney Consumer products, Buena Vista Television and Fashion TV into the Indian market.

Till date he has been responsible for his efforts individually and as part of the BCCI and the IPL for various awards. They include:

  • "The Business Standard Award" for making BCCI the Most Innovative Company in India for the year 2008.
  • "Brand Builder of the Year" by Asia Brand Conference and "The Consumer Award for Transforming Cricket in India" in 2008 by CNBC Awaaz
  • "The Most Innovative Business Leader in India" by NDTV Profit and Sullivan Growth Excellence Awards For "Excellence in Innovation" in 2008.
  • "Teacher's Achievement of the Year award and "Sports Business- Rushmans Award For Sports Event Innovation".

Samir Modi

Samir Modi, an alumnus of the Hindu College and famed Harvard Business School, has been the Executive Director of Godfrey Philips India Ltd since 1994. He has also been instrumental in starting the first Indian Network Marketing Company - MODICARE, marketing consumer products and providing knowledge and employment opportunities.

In 2004, Samir launched Colorbar Cosmetics which, with its innovative products and wide color palette, has emerged as a favored brand with loyal consumers.

In 2005, he launched India's first of its kind convenience retail chain - Twenty Four Seven Retail Stores that are open 24 hours, 7 days a week.

To give back to society, he established MODICARE Foundation in 1996, to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS, enhance awareness and erase the myths and misconceptions surrounding the disease.
