Admission Requirements

Undergraduate admissions requirements

To be admitted to an undergraduate degree program, you must meet the following requirements.

  1. Class XII Pass - Mark sheets and certificate
  2. English Language Proficiency - You can take either a TOEFL / IELTS or CELSA language test. The cut-off score for TOEFL is 79 (IBT) or 213 (CBT) The cut-off for IELTS is 6.5-band, CELSA 55 for UG program.
  3. If you do not meet the language proficiency requirements, you will be required to attend an ESL program prior to starting your academic courses. If you graduate from the MAII ESL program. Your TOFEL, IELTS or CELSA requirement is waived.
  4. Enrollment Prior to HIgh School Graduation- You may take undergraduate courses prior to completion of your high school program, if you have recieved permission of your advisior and have a cummulative grade point average of at least 3.0. Final acceptance into the degree program will be granted only when you successfully complete your high school program or GED.
  5. Personal interview - If you meet the acceptance criteria, you will be called for an interview with the Program Dean or the interview panel.

Graduate admissions requirements

To be admitted to a graduate degree program, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Undergraduate Degree Related to your Graduate Program - If the undergraduate degree is 3 years, you may be required to complete undergraduate bridge courses (typically 4 to 8 courses). If you can demonstrate employment experience in which you have accumulated the required foundation skills, the bridge course requirement may be reduced or waived.
  2. GRE or GMAT Evaluation of Academic Potential - You must complete the GRE for a technical Master's degree or a GMAT for a business Master's degree. Stratford has not established pre-defined GRE or GMAT cut-off scores. Your application is reviewed as a whole (transcripts, test scores, work experience, life achievements) to determine your potential for academic success. You may also present your CAT, MAT, GATE, or M-CAT scores to determine your eligibility for a program
  3. English Language Proficiency - You can take either a TOEFL, IELTS or CELSA language test. The cut-off score for TOEFL is 79 (IBT) or 213 (CBT). The cut-off for IELTS is 6.5-band. You may also take the CELSA exam and obtain a score of 65 .
  4. If you do not meet the language proficiency requirements, you will be required to attend an ESL program prior to starting your academic courses. If you graduate from the MAII ESL program, your TOEFL, IELTS or CELSA test requirement is waived.
  5. Personal interview - If you meet the acceptance criteria, you will be called for an interview with the Program Dean or the interview panel.
