Ranking and Reputation


The Stratford University and its learning sites are accredited to the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), U.S.

ACICS was founded in 1912 and is today one of the most respected and longest established national accreditor and academic institution of United States. It is recognized by the U.S Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).ACICS currently accredits more than 680 institutions through the United States and more than a dozen foreign countries enrolling approximately 650,000 students. ACICS is not for profit organization incorporated in the commonwealth of Virginia with offices maintained in the District of Columbia.

Dr. Joseph Gurubutham, Director, New Campus Development, ACICS visited Modi Academic International Institute (MAII) as an Inspector Head on 13th September 2009.His preliminary report rated MAII very positively and the first ever accreditation for the Distributed Learning site of Stratford University in India was given.

MAII’s Institutional Effectiveness Plan that benchmarks ACICS’s placement and retention criteria against MAII’s achievements and delineates future effectiveness plan, was rated “concrete and one of the best” by ACICS representatives.
