Students Placement in India
| Priyanka Jain Hi! I'm Priyanka Jain. I completed my schooling in 2004 & I pursued my Graduation in Bachelors of Computer Applications from Faridabad Institute of Technology (M.D.U, Rohtak). After finishing my graduation in 2007, I was very keen to pursue MBA (IT) since it is a unique combination of IT & Managerial Skills. But, at the same time I also realized that it would take me at least two years to put all the theory into practice i.e. to be finally on a job. I thought that may be I could take up a regular job & do MBA by correspondence or do regular studies & take up a part time job. This whole thought was giving me goose bumps that whether I should take up regular studies or a regular job? But then one day, one of friends told me about MAII. I thought it would be worth paying them a visit if they could solve my dilemma. But, after I was explained the whole concept of MAII I was amazed that I could now really study in a truly international environment in India . I was so fascinated with MAII that I immediately started off with my courses. Everything at MAII was truly as per the international standards. As promised at the time of admission, I was flooded with job offers & luckily made it to Hewlett Packard (HP). With the consultation of MAII, I took the opportunity & now I attend my classes on Weekends. At HP, I am responsible for handling the South region Business accounts. I am very happy with my job & have ultimately got what I always wanted, regular Studies & regular Job! This is the best platform to start off a career at the right time, without missing out on the studies. Thank You MAII for inculcating the confidence in me to Win & Excel |

| Tridip Kalita After completing B.E. (Mech.) from National Institute Technology, Surat, Gujarat in 1991, I had gone back to Guwahati, my native place and started working there in a State Govt. Undertaking. For long twelve years life was stagnated and I eventually developed a strong desire to shift to a fast track in private sector by acquiring Management education and by relocating in a happening place like Delhi. But I could not afford to leave my job for the sake of education as I had to completely support my family (including my parents, wife and a school going child) Finally in 2004, MAII, Delhi came up as a means for fulfilling my long cherished dream because here was a unique opportunity to work and study together and that too in Delhi. So I resigned from my Govt. Sector job in Guwahati and shifted to Delhi for doing an MBA in MAII. Within 3 months of my joining MAII, I got my first job which was good enough to support myself and my relocated family in Delhi. Gradually, with the advancement of my MBA courses, better offers poured in. Present Position Working as Business Development Manager for North India region for a globally renowned company called Mivan, in the field of hi rise constructions, mass housing projects, theme park, interior fit outs and telecommunication having its Head office in Antrim, U.K. (Mivan Ltd.) and my reporting office is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia(Mivan Far East Sdn. Bhd.)] I have completed my training in Malaysia and am professionally doing well. Supports from WIU The educational environment created by MAII includes all elements needed for practical learning and self-development of any aspiring student. Utkarsh Batra I work for fortune brands, a leading American consumer company with interests in Liquor, Home and Hardware and Golf. I am responsible for leading their home and hardware brand Moen for the India. Prior to this I was with Samsung where I was campus placed; I led the hospitality segment and was responsible for account management in their National Sales Team. Writing an illustrious story is though difficult, but when it comes to giving credit for success I would give it to vision. Vision is what changes perspective. Every college offers an education which would be same books same syllabi, but the differentiating factor is the perspective. I came to MAII after 2 years of work experience; I felt the need to understand why and how's of business from every angle: Finance, Marketing, and Human Capital. I had done an extensive research for selecting a program. Every College was the same they offered the same courses, the difference lay in execution of the program: The Perspective. I chose MAII over other programs because of the global perspective it offered with an Indian touch. Especially, in times when the world is looking at India and want managers to be able to relate to their processes and adapt their companies to the Indian perspective. The difference I feel the education made to me was phenomenal, with faculty who taught not only the subject but added value by citing and relating to real corporate issues. The program was designed in such a way that a sense of responsibility penetrated that I actually took charge of my career. Today when I look back I give due credit to my college for giving me a perspective of a learning. Learning is finding out what you already know. |
| Ratika Lal Hi! My name is Ratika Lall. I passed out from school in 2004 & completed my Graduation in Bachelors of Computer Applications from F.I.T, Manav Rachna Educational Society. As I was on the verge of completing my graduation, I also simultaneously started looking for GMAT coaching & other formalities that were required for pursuing a Master's degree abroad. I had almost finalized everything - the requirements, the process, finance etc. But then one fine day, I came across an internet flasher quoting "MAII". I just thought that I would browse through the same casually, but Hey! What I found turned out to be a Big Surprise! I arranged for a meeting with their admission counselor & found out that I could really get an American Degree in India without actually spending as much as I had planned. I immediately enrolled for MBA (I.T), & started off with my courses. The environment, teaching methodology, activities, & the standards of conduct were truly international. Almost four months passed, I was very happy of my decision & to add to it a few job opportunities also arrived. The grooming at MAII was done so well, that failing in an interview was out of question. So, the best opportunity that I grabbed was from Hewlett-Packard (HP). It's been almost three months since I have been working with HP, & I am responsible for handling the SMB HP Accounts for the entire East India region. Now, I work regularly for five days a week & attend my classes on weekends. I had never imagined that I could really put in all the studied theory into practice to such an extent. Now, I am not only studying but also earning MAII has made me so independent in the true sense of word. I believe this is the best platform that I could have selected to give my career a boost. I am very thankful to the co-operation & support that MAII has given me, & if possible I would definitely like to go to MAII , U.S Campus to pursue my final year. Thanks! For shaping my Career & helping me realize my potential |

Rahul Goyal My name is Rahul Goyal and I am from Delhi, India. I graduated from high school in 2005. I will be graduating from Western International University in 2008. Currently, I am employed with ICICI BANK where I am working as financial consultant. As Financial Consultant, the greatest challenge of my job is to understand the financial need of the clients and provide them with best possible solution. Secondly, I utilize my skills to analyze the financial credibility of the clients to meet their financial goals in future and livelihood also. I choose to attend MAII because of their education concept. The academic module concept is really good and the class size also. Unlike many other programs where emphasis is only on leaning, here one can not only learn but also explore the opportunities that are beyond the classrooms. The faculty at MAII has vested interest in undergraduate students by providing them with research projects and various opportunities. MAII gave me the tool that can be applied in real world, set the success and allow me to differentiate myself from other graduates. Finally, the most important thing MAII offered was assistance in getting job. Lastly, I would like to say a famous saying, "A Dream is not what you see in sleep: A Dream is the thing which does not let you sleep.!" |

Further due to my role enhancement I was asked to leave Citi and pursue MBA and this brought me to MAII. | Purnima Arora I am Purnima. I am pursuing my Bachelors in Science in Management (BSM) from MAII, India. After completing my school i wanted to do something different which would help me build my career. I am glad i chose the right option of joining MAII as is gives a totally student-friendly experience. Starting from the system of education to the facilities and faculties, everything is designed in such a manner that there are no regrets. Moreover, quite recently when i joined Ernst and Young for my summer internship, i realized what value being associated with this university holds outside the walls of the college. In my internship team, i was among the two interns taken from our college. Once i started working i could actually implement my values and knowledge gained during my classes at MAII. Thereon, i could understand that what all is taught to us in our course modules is actually very useful at our workplace; where all of us will be heading quite soon. This internship motivates me to take every workshop in the coming future more efficiently and enthusiastically. I am glad I got this opportunity to thank all the people behind MAII to have made this possible as I see my future extremely prosperous and successful. I am proud when I say I trust MAII for what they have given to all their students - Best Education and Values. |

| Gandharv Vig India’s higher education sector successes are the envy of the world and attracting foreign universities to develop linkages with Indian Institutions of higher learning. Foreign students are keen to avail India’s low cost advantage without compromising on quality. The Modi Academic International Institute , Delhi, set up in 2001, is one such research-oriented, independent, management Institution, offering high quality Post Graduate, Executive and under-graduation level programs for students from all over the world. Hi, my name is Gandharv Vig and I am from Gurgaon, Haryana. I did my post graduation, Masters of Business Administration in Marketing, in 2005 from the Modi Apollo Institute located in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. Initially when I heard about the direct campus concept which MAII follows I was bit skeptical about the future of the institute. Being one and only direct campus institute in India the chances of the concept going un-noticed were huge. But due to the popular 'Work while you learn' mantra the institute gained huge respect. It gave a fresh gateway to the way post graduation courses are viewed in India. Currently I am employed as a Marketing Manager with the Indo-German Export Promotion Project (An PPP between German Technical Cooperation & Ministry of Commerce, GoI). My core responsibility is to promote bilateral business relations between India and Germany at Micro level. In past two years our organization has successfuly introduced around 25 German firms in India. Alongside that we are working on various state level projects and are responsible for introducing modern technologies (technology transfer) in the Indian market. My experience at MAII has definitely had a impetus on my approach towards my career. It has not only enhanced my knowledge but has also helped me to be something worth while in life which I have always visualized. I strongly believe that my decision to join WIU has reaped suitable benefits and will continue to do so. Just a piece of advice to all my friends pursuing their education from MAII, College classes are a responsibility, no one is going to make you go to class or be a responsible person. You will sink or swim based on how responsible you are. |
