Modi Academic International Institute (MAII) has employed the latest and most effective methods of teaching English to domestic and International students. The focal skills approach which mimics the way children learn their native tongue from their surroundings. It's simple, authentic and effective. The focal skills approach does this by exposing students to real-life scenarios in a humorous stress-free environment allowing rapid acquisition. Through cinema, drama, acting, role-play and games students have countless opportunities to experiment with language.

The qualifications are for candidates whose first language is not English and they assess the four skills of speaking, writing, listening and reading. The topics and tasks covered are relevant to learners and are related to everyday work, study, community and social situations.

The qualifications also offer people an introduction to various aspects of everyday life in India or the UK/USA.

The framework offers:

Access and Intermediate 1

The Access 3 and Intermediate 1 qualifications are internally assessed and externally moderated. There's no exam, and no grading- candidates either pass or fail.

• ESOL Everyday Communication
• ESOL Transactional English
• ESOL Works and Study related English

Intermediate 2 and Higher Qualifications

The Intermediate 2 and Higher qualifications are also internally assessed and externally moderated, and there's also an exam.

The Intermediate 2 and Higher qualification courses are made up of three single units each as mentioned below:

Three Single Units: ESOL Everyday Communication - 2 Units
ESOL English for Work

IELTS-TOEFL ESOL Exam: Exam preparation programs for reading, writing, listening and speaking International exams qualifications like IELTS/TOEFL/ESOL exams are optional.
